Lauri Romanzi, MD, MScPH is a global health Obstetrician/Gynecologist, Urogynecologist, fistula surgeon, and maternal health quality of care specialist who has worked for decades with innovative colleagues in over 15 African and South Asian countries.
Dr. Romanzi is the pioneer of a scar-free, uterus-preserving (no hysterectomy) hysteropexy technique that helps women with uterine prolapse fix the problem without removing the uterus.
She is an advisor to national and international organizations dedicated to health equity and human rights for United States women in underserved communities and for women in low- and middle-income countries across the world.
